We will talk on the record about how the product works, why there is no caste or community filter in it, deposits and brokerage in Indian rental markets, and what shared housing is actually like for people moving cities for work. We will not comment on individual users, listings or moderation decisions.

Nothing published yet. FlatJugaad is pre-launch, so there are no announcements, no coverage and no articles to link to — and we are not going to fill this space with anything invented to make it look busier. When there is something real, it will appear here.

• Product: FlatJugaad — a flatshare and housemate-matching platform for Indian cities.
• Operated by: Aqualeo India Pvt Ltd, incorporated in India, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
• Status: pre-launch. Not yet live in any city.
• Planned launch cities: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Gurugram, Noida, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata.
• Languages: English plus ten Indian languages — Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia and Assamese.

We publish no user numbers, listing counts or match statistics, because we have none worth publishing. If we ever quote a figure to a journalist, we will show how it was counted.

What makes this different, in one paragraph

Identity verification happens before anyone can post or make contact, and we never see or store an Aadhaar number. Phone numbers and exact addresses stay masked until both people agree to share them. There is no religion, caste, community or region filter — those fields do not exist in the product — and listings are screened for coded language before they go live. We are not a broker and take no brokerage. Rent, bills and household services split into a shared ledger the house already uses.

The FlatJugaad wordmark and icon are available on request from press@flatjugaad.in. Please do not recolour, stretch, rotate or add effects to the logo, and do not use it in a way that implies we endorse a product, a landlord or a listing.
